Laurie Gira

Laurie Gira is the Grant Manager for BlackRock Center for the Arts. She earned her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University School of Law, and was an associate with the Law Firm of Covington & Burling before becoming a fulltime stay-at-home mother to her son and daughter, now grown. She received her Bachelors in Physics from Wake Forest University, and taught at Falls Church High School. She is active in her church, Gaithersburg Presbyterian, and is on the Board of Directors of The UpCounty Hub. Laurie is thrilled to be working with the great team at BlackRock Center for the Arts.
