Rising Kindergartners through rising 5th- graders are eligible for Sports Meets the Arts.
Rising 3rd-graders through rising 8th-graders are eligible to participate in BlackRock’s Youth Academy.
Rising 9th-graders through rising 12th-graders can apply for our Counselor in Training Program.
Additional programming and age groups may be added based on CDC guidelines.
All campers are to abide by behavior policies stated at the time of registration and outlined in the Summer Camp Handbook. Consequences for inappropriate or unsafe behavior include BlackRock’s right to excuse a child from camp. Please take time to review expectations with your child prior to the start of camp. A link to the Campers Handbook will be provided at a later date to all registered campers and be posted on For Parents page.

BlackRock provides a 10% discount to campers whose parents/guardians are Montgomery County Public School Staff and/or a U.S. veterans. In addition, we offer a sibling discount of -$10/week. To apply for a discount, please contact our Education Manager prior to registering your camper(s).
Health and emergency information is included in the online registration process. All required forms will be emailed to the account on file after registration is complete. Authorization for Medication Form, Camper Health History, and Immunization Certificate.
BlackRock reserves the right to use photographs and video taken in camp and/or their work for the purpose of instruction, and/or advertising and promotion of BlackRock and its programs, including social media. Participants will not receive compensation of any kind for use of these images. Participants release and hold harmless BlackRock Center for the Arts, its officers, and employees from any claims. If you do not agree you must notify our Education Manager in writing prior to registration.
There is a payment plan available, $100.00 is due at the time of registration. Then the remaining balance is divided into two payments due June 18th and a second on July 16th from an automatic withdrawal. This payment plan is per camp, per camper.
If a camp is canceled, a full refund is given.
If a refund request is made two (2) weeks or more before the start date of camp, and tuition has been paid in full, you are entitled to a 50% refund or 100% BlackRock credit. The BlackRock credit expires after twelve (12) months from the issue date.
If paying for camp with a two-part payment plan, and final payment has not been made, the initial payment is returned with a $25.00 processing fee or 100% BlackRock credit. The BlackRock credit expires after twelve (12) months from the issue date.
If you cancel within two (2) weeks of the camp start date, no refunds or credits will be issued.
If you are accepted into the CIT program, tuition is non-refundable.
There are multiple ways to register. We recommend online for easy and secure check-out. Our staff is also available to assist via in-person, phone, or email Monday through Friday from 10 AM - 6 PM.

This scholarship opportunity serves 75% of tuition fees for the Summer Youth Art Academy and the Counselor in Training Program.
