About the Event
This will be an introduction to Cape Breton stepdance, from Nova Scotia, and the seated “podorythmie" foot rhythms of Québec.
No dance experience necessary! Hard-soled shoes are recommended.
This workshop, open to students ages 13 and up, is one of two workshops being presented by Jocelyn Pettit and Ellen Gira. Participants in this workshop will be invited to perform onstage with Jocelyn and Ellen during their mainstage performance on Sunday, September 25th at 3pm: get your tickets here!
