Let’s Be Creative: Winter Wonderland
When: January 13 - February 17 (Wednesdays) Time: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Winter is the season of cold and cozy activities. In Winter Wonderland we will be exploring themes that reflect the cold, cozy and not so cozy nature of the winter months. So, be on the look-out for snowmen, pirates, snow tasting, owls and more!
MATERIALS FEE: ESTIMATED COST-
Materials: Drawing paper (9" x 12", six sheets), dark blue paper with a "tooth" for pastels (9" x 12", 1 sheet), black paper with a "tooth" for pastels (9" x 12", 1 sheet), colored paper plus skin colored sheets, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener, scissors, colored pencils, chalk pastels, colored clay (non-drying), glue stick, Elmer's glue in a squeeze bottle. - $20

Introduction to Photography
When: February 23 - March 16 (Tuesdays) Time: 6:30 PM - 9 PM
Learn how to use your camera to its fullest potential! Get out of “automatic mode” and take better photos by adjusting your aperture, shutter speed, ISO/film speed, exposure compensation, exposure mode, white balance and much more.
DSLR, mirrorless and film cameras with the classic P, A/Av, S/Tv and M exposure modes are welcome. iPhones/Androids are welcome if you have an advanced photography app, such as ProCamera or similar, that allows you to adjust the above topics.

Ages: 7 - 11
Young artists will love this Virtual Visual Art BlackRock in a Box program. This is the perfect class to kick-off a new year. Students create vision boards to visualize goals they have. With oil pastels, student learn to simulate the look of stained class. With experience in art therapy techniques, Teaching Artist Anjali leads students through an inspiring and motivational art journey, building a community of young artists along the way.
