BlackRock presents exhibitions in our galleries throughout the year to provide opportunities for the creative expression of artists and the active engagement of audiences of all ages.

The series of solo, group, juried and themed exhibitions showcase works in a variety of media by both emerging and established contemporary visual artists from across the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.

Moyi Arts Concept LLC is a registered cultural organization based in the United States of America and the Republic of Congo. From August 09th,2025 to October 04th, 2025, Moyi Arts Concept LLC, will be organizing its first introductory educational and cultural exchange program known as, " Bringing Congo to the Heart of America," at Black Rock Center in Germantown, Maryland. This cultural exchange program is pay-what-you-can, family friendly, and welcomes people of all ages. During this international arts program, Moyi Arts Concept will be organizing Arts Exhibitions and give interesting presentations/ lectures on leading Congolese Artists' portfolios, Congolese Arts and Political History, Congolese social Culture, Congolese Mythology, current trends in Contemporary Congolese Arts and many more.​​

Theme: Pictural Universe of Antoine Sita and Yves Mokomba: the voices of traditional and primitive Congolese Arts

4) Saturday, September 20th, 2025 (04:00 pm to 5:00 pm)

Theme: Pictural Universe of Marcel Gotene, the Congolese Picasso

5) Saturday, October 04th, 2025 ( 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm)

Theme: Lead Artists from the National Painting School of Poto Poto: Adam Opou, Mpo Gerly, Cyrille Bokotaka, and Jacques Illoki

GALLERIES

The Kay Gallery is located on the main level and has 1,500 square feet of exhibition space with 16-foot-high walls topped by clerestory windows. Gallery II is located on the upper level and has up to 140 linear feet of wall display space, a wall of windows, and varied ceiling height with some areas open to the two-story atrium.
