On Friday, September 17, BlackRock Center for the Arts will reopen its doors for an exclusive, members-only evening featuring beautiful art and unique performances throughout our stunning space. Vaccinations and masks will be required to attend.

At 7:00 pm a chamber ensemble from the National String Symphonia will perform in the Kay Gallery surrounded by the exhibit “The Power of Patience”. At the same time, members can enjoy a jazz ensemble of Montgomery College alum and current students on our Rooftop Terrace led by Alvin Trask, Chair of the Performing Arts. Plus our second-floor “Quotable Quarantine” Exhibit! The evening will be capped off with a lively performance of Dupont Brass on our Main Stage.

As BlackRock continues to prioritize the health and safety of our visitors, staff, students and artists, it is required (until further notice) that anyone inside the building must wear a mask and anyone age 12+ must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
If you are unable to be vaccinated, you may provide proof of a PCR or Rapid COVID-19 antigen test taken within 48 hours of the performance prior to entering BlackRock Center for the Arts. At-home tests will not be accepted.
