LUNAFEST, films for and about women

Girls on the Run of Montgomery County is proud to host LUNAFEST Germantown 2022! LUNAFEST is a short film festival by women for women.

About this event Join us for an evening under the stars with this outdoors film festival! We'll spread out on the great lawn as we watch the screening of eight short films showcasing diverse stories and highlighting the connections we all share. This event is hosted by Girls on the Run of Montgomery County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. All ticket and raffle sale proceeds will support the Girls on the Run scholarship fund, which makes Girls on the Run accessible to all girls who wish to participate. Play a part in strengthening our community and celebrating diversity in storytelling!

Please see FAQs section below for BlackRock's current COVID protocols for guests. BlackRock Center for the Arts does not provide traditional seating for its outdoor lawn area. Guests are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets.Event Details:7:15 PM: Doors open and happy hour begins!
