5 PM - Local Artist Highlight!
Jeff Herbert is a local folk musician who loves to cover songs that for one reason or another he feels a connection to. He is currently the house musician at Old Anglers Inn beer garden on MacArthur Blvd in Potomac. You can typically find him there, early evenings on Friday, Sat and Sunday. Jeff is also a bagpiper with the Washington DC Fire Dept Pipes and Drums band. https://www.jeffherbertmusic.com

Emily and Jorge Rodriguez are a married acoustic covers duo residing in Germantown, MD. They share a love of all things music and especially enjoy rearranging classics to fit their unique sound of electro nylon guitar and smooth vocals. Expect to hear songs from the late 50s through the 00s that you can sing along with as well as some unexpected tunes that will make you say “I forgot about that song!”

LIVE @ The Rock is a FREE community outdoor event from 5 PM – 8 PM, every Friday night, from July 9 – August 27, 2021. Audiences are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and/or blanket, purchase dinner from one of our many local restaurants, and enjoy various beverages and treats that are offered at the BlackRock bar and concessions.
This series is focused on highlighting local artists and offering a safe, enjoyable, and entertaining space for the community to come together, as we all get #Back2BlackRock.
