Finding Fellowship: Closing Reception

The Pleasant View Historical Site was once the center of the African American community of Quince Orchard, MD. It continues to stand as a testament to history. This event, entitled "Too Precious to Lose," is in celebration of the film, Finding Fellowship, and is also an opportunity to preserve and restore the physical church and school house.

This interactive, engaging reception will focus both on the 150 year history of the Pleasant View community while inspiring attendees to contribute to its future. Attendees will experience musical performances, hear student contributions, and engage with community influencers like Obama Administration Faith Advisor, Joshua Dubois and Political Commentator, Mike Muse.
