Broadway@BlackRock: For the Love of Fame

It’s the Spring semester at BlackRock Academy for Performing Arts. Tammy Anthony is excited to join her best friend Reese and make a name for herself as the top student - too bad Harriet is not about to let Tammy and Reese steal her shine. Meanwhile, Jamie wants to keep her cool persona, as does Danielle, and a reluctant friendship develops despite their major differences. Reese just wants Madame Douglas – the famous ballet teacher – to give her a break, while Stephanie refuses to take a break! No time for that, though, because the Spring Showcase is coming up, and who will the Principal pick to close the show – the highest honor at BlackRock Academy? Not even Valerie knows – and Principal Klinger is her mom!

Broadway @ BlackRock is an audition-only program for teens to discover their stage presence while learning acting, vocal, and dance techniques. This 6-week class is fast paced and intended to give local teens an opportunity to shine on the BlackRock MainStage.
