Purchasing Tickets

You may purchase tickets online, by calling our box office at 301-528-2260 or in person at our box office, Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. Tickets are available for purchase online up to one (1) hour before a performance begins. If you would like to purchase tickets to a performance within one (1) hour prior to the start time, please visit us in person.

Conditions of Sale

Ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

Ticket Exchanges

BlackRock understands that plans change and we make every effort to accommodate our patrons’ needs.

BlackRock members at the Supporter level and Fan level enjoy two (2) free ticket exchanges per season. Patron level members and above enjoy unlimited exchange benefits. Please contact BlackRock's box office for details. All ticket exchange requests must be made at least two (2) business days prior to the performance.

A purchaser of an individual ticket may make an exchange by phone or in person until 48 business hours before the performance, subject to availability. There will be a $5 servicing fee per exchange transaction.

Tickets cannot be exchanged after the performance has taken place. Exchanges will only be accepted if requested before the deadlines noted above. Ticket exchanges are NOT available for independently produced rental shows.

Ticket Donations

If you are unable to use your tickets, they may be returned for a tax-deductible donation prior to the performance. Donations can be made by mail, email or in person. BlackRock will send a written acknowledgment of the donation in the amount of the face value of your tickets, less ticket processing fees within 30 days.

Refunds

If a performance is cancelled, BlackRock will make every effort to reschedule the performance. If a new performance date is unable to be scheduled, a refund of the ticket price will be available through the box office for 30 days after the original scheduled performance date. Patrons who are unable to attend the rescheduled date(s) may request a refund via email at info@blackrockcenter.org before the rescheduled performance date. Requests made after the rescheduled date will not be honored.

Ticket Pick Up

Tickets will be available for pick up at Will Call one hour before the performance. To avoid lines at Will Call you may print your tickets at home or use you mobile device if they were purchased online. If you purchased over the phone, please note that tickets cannot be picked up prior to one hour before the performance, and tickets cannot be mailed.

Tickets for Children and Infants

Many events at BlackRock Center for the Arts are specifically designed for families and we encourage patrons to enjoy these events with children. For performances marked as Lap-Infant OK, children UNDER 2 years of age and seated on a parent's lap may enter the theater without a ticket. Children 2 years and older must have a ticket to attend any event.

For performances that are specifically geared toward early-childhood learning, children of all ages (including babes-in-arms) will need to have a ticket purchased beside their parents.

For events not specifically geared for young audiences, parents are asked to use discretion when bringing children.

Tickets for Sold-Out Performances

When a performance is sold out of available seats, a limited number of standing room only tickets (17 for the MainStage and 20 for the BlackBox Theater) will be made available for purchase online, over the phone, and in person. This does not apply to BlackBox Theater performances that are General Admission-Standing Room.

Wait lists will be made available when seats for the show are sold out and are limited to 20 people.
