Venezuelan singer-songwriter Jonathan Acosta offers a variety of Venezuelan and Hispanic musical themes on the Venezuelan cuatro, and the Violin. His original composition Ánimo Venezuela has become very popular in his homeland, perfectly striking the national mood with a message of hope and inspiration in their time of tribulation. Jonathan is also a human rights activist whose work, including his music, has forced him into exile in America. He was recently honored by the Montgomery County Council as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
I will continue to make music that raises awareness and integrates nations.
