Free Summer Concert – David Cole & Main Street Blues

David Cole & Main Street Blues

If hearing the blues doesn’t make you stand up and holler, then you’ve never heard David “Git” Cole play the blues.  A favorite of the D.C. Blues Society, this native Washingtonian brings the full range of his experience as one of the area’s most versatile musicians to his expression of the blues, arguably America’s foremost musical and storytelling art form.

Join us on the Lawn!

Our Beer & Wine Garden features Montgomery County craft beer and wine from your favorite local breweries. Also, the Beer & Wine Garden now offers mixed drinks, with BlackRock Executive Director Alyona Ushe serving as special guest bartender! Per Montgomery County policy, outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.

In addition to adult beverages, please join us for dinner! Whether it’s a picnic of your own goodies, takeout from one of our many restaurant neighbors, or from one of our vendors featured this week:

Jimmy John’s serves freaky fresh gourmet sandwiches, freaky fast! During the concert, our local Germantown Jimmy John’s (just down the block from BlackRock!) will be sharing a portion of their revenues with BlackRock — both at their table on our lawn, and in-store. Thanks Jimmy John’s for being such a great supporter of the arts in our community!

Uncle Fred’s BBQ provides some of the most authentic brisket, pulled pork and award-winning ribs in the area — they’ve got some pretty tasty chicken, too!

Kuk’s Tribute offers authentic tastes of West Africa, with Ghanian dishes ready to order!
