NGAC

Next Generation Arts Council was founded in June 2019 for the purpose of teaching kids that there is much more to keeping arts in their lives than simply performing on stage. We are an inclusive youth arts program that fuels life-long passion and participation in the arts. We are unique among regional youth theaters in that the kids who perform and work on the productions pay nothing to participate. Shows are funded entirely on ticket sales and donations.

At the heart of Story Tapestries’ programs is the desire to empower people to identify and access their personal strengths and boost their areas of weakness. Twenty percent of our offerings are one-time “spark” programs and performances that serve to inspire and motivate audiences to engage in the arts and to attend other performances or workshops. Eighty percent of our programs are “intensive” in-depth arts experiences that enable collaboration with others and  result in participants’ increased confidence in speaking in front of others and presenting their ideas via performance or display.
