This local favorite dazzles on jazz saxophone. Kearns and his combo offer an evening of Brazilian Bossa Novas and jazz standards, featuring many songs by Antonio Carlos Jobin which are on their recent CD, Quiet Nights. The CD was inspired by the seminal recording Jazz Samba by Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd, created 50 years ago. Kearns and Co. have flair to spare, and have played this program to sell-out crowds around the region.
