BlackRock Center for the Arts' administrative offices are open for business from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. (Administrative offices are on the second floor.) During class sessions, the center is also open during evening hours. Because closing times vary during the sessions, please call 301-528-2260 for specific closing times or consult our education brochure for class times.
The art gallery is open Monday through Friday 10:00 to 5:00, Saturdays (during class sessions) from 10:00 to 2:00, and during performances that are not being presented in the gallery.
The box office will re-open in mid-July, when tickets for the 2013-14 season go on sale. During the season, tickets are available for purchase from 12:00-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday and one hour prior to performances. To order tickets during these hours, please visit our box office or call 240-912-1058. Tickets may also be purchased online by clicking the "Buy Tickets" button in the upper right corner.
Directions
BlackRock Center for the Arts is conveniently located in the Germantown Town Center, in the heart of Germantown, near the intersection of Middlebrook Rd. and Route 118 (Germantown Rd.). Ample free parking is available behind the building.
FROM THE NORTH
- Take I-270 South
- Take Exit 15B (Md. 118 South)
- Keep right at the fork in the ramp
- Merge onto Md. 118 South /Germantown Rd.
- Continue for 3/4 mile, turn right onto Middlebrook Rd.
- Make first right into shopping center (Century Blvd.)
- Travel for two short blocks and turn left
- BlackRock Center for the Arts will be on your right
- Parking is located behind the facility
FROM THE SOUTH
- Take I-270 North
- Take Exit 13B (Middlebrook Rd. West)
- Cross the well-marked Md. Route 118
- After crossing Rt. 118, make first right into shopping center (Century Blvd.)
- Travel for two short blocks and turn left
- BlackRock Center for the Arts will be on your right
- Parking is located behind the facility
FROM I-95 BALTIMORE
- Take I-95 South
- Take the I-495 W Exit (Exit 27 toward Silver Spring)
- Keep right at the fork in the ramp
- Merge onto Capital Beltway (495)
- Take the I-270 North exit (Exit 35 toward Frederick)
- Take Exit 13B (Middlebrook Rd. West)
- Cross the well marked Md. Route 118
- After crossing Rt. 118, make first right into shopping center (Century Blvd.)
- Travel for two short blocks and turn left
- BlackRock Center for the Arts will be on your right
- Parking is located behind the facility
