Armed with a megawatt smile and a pocket full of dreams, Erin Jackson is poised to conquer the world of stand-up. In fact, she’d probably be a superstar by now if her friends and family hadn’t spent so many years hating on her dreams and stealing her joy.
Since first making a name for herself at colleges and east coast comedy clubs, Erin’s conversational style and relateable humor have helped to propel her onto the national stage. Erin was a semifinalist on the latest reboot of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and co-hosted three seasons of “Exhale,” a provocative and candid talk series on Magic Johnson’s ASPiRE television network.
Erin can be seen nightly in many of New York City’s top comedy clubs, and has performed stand-up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” OWN’s “Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live” and TV Guide Network’s “Standup in Stilettos.” She has appeared on NFL Network, VH-1 nd TV Guide Network as a panelist on sports and pop-culture countdown shows, and she also works as a voice-over artist, lending her vocals most recently to the Morgan Spurlock-produced “We the Economy” documentary series.
A proud alumna of Howard University, Erin is obsessed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
One of New York’s fastest rising up and coming comedians, Angela Cobb’s self deprecating charm and nonchalant intellect make her a favorite among audiences in the Big Apple and beyond.
A regular at Broadway Comedy Club, Cobb can also be heard on Sirius XM Radio and her tweets have appeared on Comedy Central’s @midnight, in The Huffington Post, and someecards.
