OR hand delivered: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday-Friday. Registrations will not be accepted for classes after the second meeting. Classes will not be prorated for late registration.

Early Registration Benefit: Early registration for fall classes will conclude on September 3, 2014. Standard registration fees begin on September 4, 2014. Workshops are excluded from the early registration benefit.
Conservatory Registrations: The conservatory program is a special set of yearlong classes in dance, music and theater that build skills throughout the academic year (fall, winter and spring sessions). Students are expected to enroll in all three sessions and can only join the class after the fall session based on permission of the instructor and space availability. Priority registration will be given to current students in the conservatory program for winter and spring sessions during member registration week. Students who are registered in a conservatory class, will be invoiced during the winter and spring priority registration periods. Students whose invoices have not been paid by the last date of priority registration, will be un-enrolled from the class and can register during general registration. All invoices MUST be paid by the due date provided in order to hold your spot in class, otherwise a space is not guaranteed.
Class Cancellations: BlackRock reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason. In the event BlackRock must cancel a class, full refund of tuition is guaranteed. Early enrollment is advised to reserve a space in each class and to avoid possible cancellation.
Substitutions: BlackRock reserves the right to substitute faculty when necessary. Classes missed by students cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
Payment Information: Full payment must be made at the time of registration by cash, check or credit card. Checks and money orders should be made payable to BlackRock Center for the Arts and must include name, address, home and work telephone numbers, and participant’s full name. There is a $25 charge for returned checks. VISA, MasterCard, AmEx and Discover payments are accepted. Registration forms must include correct credit card number, expiration date, security code, name on card, authorized signature and authorized amount. Spaces will not be held without payment.
Payment Plan: For education invoices totaling $400 or more for classes and/or camps, a payment plan is available. Applications for payment plans must be made in person at BlackRock and are not available online or over the phone. Payment plans are available using a valid credit card for payment only. 50% of the registration fees plus a $20 payment plan initiation fee are due in full at the time of registration. The remaining fees will be automatically charged by the registration system to the credit card on file prior to the start of the first class. If the credit card charge should fail, payment is due in full prior to the second class or the student will automatically be withdrawn and all payments made to date as part of the payment plan forfeited. Should the student choose to not attend class after registering, all withdrawal policies and fees remain in effect.
Class Credits and Refunds: Requests for withdrawal from any class must be submitted in writing to BlackRock Center for the Arts or emailed to email@example.com. The request must include the student’s name, payer’s name, address and phone number, class registered for and reason for withdrawal. If your request is received more than two weeks before the start date of the class, you will receive a refund or credit of the tuition paid less a $25 processing fee per participant per class. If notice is received within two weeks of the class start date, a $50 processing fee will be assessed per participant per class. Classes missed by students cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Refunds may take six to eight weeks for processing.
During the first two weeks of class, a prorated refund or tuition credit valid for one year toward a future class or camp program may be issued, minus the processing fee. No refunds or credits will be made after the second week of class.
Materials Fee: Students in adult and teen classes are responsible for their own supplies; a list of supplies will be available at the first class. There is a materials fee for all children’s visual art classes that is included in your tuition; see specific classes for details.
