ABOUT BLACKROCK
BlackRock Center for the Arts is a cultural cornerstone of Germantown that engages the communities of Upper Montgomery County to explore, experience and celebrate the arts.
Our overarching goals are to:
- Provide opportunities for people of all ages, means and abilities to participate in the arts as students and as audience members
- Offer a wide range of classes and workshops taught by professional arts educators
- Present artists of the highest caliber on our stages and in our galleries
- Engage our community through strategic partnerships and outreach initiatives
- Maintain fiscal responsibility
BlackRock Center for the Arts is located at 12901 Town Commons Drive Germantown, MD in upper Montgomery County, about 20 minutes from the Capital Beltway (495).
ABOUT THE GALLERY
BlackRock Center for the Arts gallery is 1500 square feet of gallery space. Its high white walls and beautiful windows allows in just the right amount of natural light. We take pride in the outstanding artists we have exhibited over the years, which have been reviewed by Claudia Rousseau, Lenny Campello, and other art critics in the area.
