Please join us on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a “Fine Craft Preview” featuring the work of local fine craft artists and artisans from the Art League of Germantown who will present handmade jewelry, ceramics, glass, metal, wood and fiber art. Get a head start on your holiday shopping at “Autumn Glow 2016,” The Art League of Germantown’s Show & Sale, which will be open daily from Wednesday, October 26 through Sunday, October 30 in the Kay Gallery during special limited Show Hours. Exhibit Overview: “Autumn Glow 2016” is a five-day indoor fine art and craft show and sale has a new festival style format and features original paintings, drawings, photography, prints, sculpture, pottery, fiber art, woodcarving, jewelry, and other fine crafts created by local artist members of the Art League of Germantown (ALOG). Special events include an “ALOG Figure Drawing Demonstration” with a costumed model (Wednesday, October 26, 4–7pm); “Photography As Art: A Panel Discussion” presented by Jaree Donnelly, Thom Germer, Craig Higgins, and Marge Wasson (Thursday, October 27, 5–7pm); “Fine Craft Preview” providing a first look at the latest creations by jewelry artists and fine crafters (Friday, October 28, 4–8pm), “ALOG Artists in Action!” demonstrations by participating artists (Saturday, October 29, 11–5pm & Sunday, October 30, 12–5pm); and “Wine Receptions” (Saturday, October 29 & Sunday October 30, 2–4pm).
