A Day in the Life at BlackRock Summer Camps

The 2016 summer camps start on June 21! As the first day of camp approaches, we wanted to give you a taste of what a camp day looks like in two of our most popular camps.

Musical theater camp for 3rd–8th graders. Students will be divided into groups to learn short original musical revues that tie into the session theme. In each two-week session, students, CITs, counselors, and directors will work as a team to put together every aspect of a fully realized production. This includes casting, rehearsals, memorization, painting backdrops, and building props while forming lasting friendships. The camp culminates in a performance for parents, family, and friends.
